The Berz Story !

In 1947, Milt Berz, Sr. started teaching people how to fly at the grass airstrip on his farm. As his flight school and airport grew, he named it Birmingham-Berz Airport.

In 1972, Mr. Berz and his son, Milt Jr., sold the airport to Oakland County, which renamed the facility Oakland/Troy Airport.
